Account & Data Deletion Request
For GymCare Owner, Trainer, and Member mobile app users.
You can request deletion of your GymCare mobile app account and associated personal data by contacting our support team. We will verify your identity before processing the request to protect your account and gym data.
How to Request Deletion
Send an email to contact@visionus.io with the subject line GymCare Account and Data Deletion Request.
Please include:
- Your full name.
- Your registered mobile number or email address used in the GymCare app.
- Your gym, fitness studio, or organization name, if applicable.
- Your app role: Owner, Trainer, Staff, or Member.
- A short note confirming that you want your GymCare account and personal data deleted.
What We Delete
After verification, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with your app account where deletion is technically and legally permitted. This may include:
- Profile details such as name, phone number, email address, and profile image.
- App login access and authentication identifiers.
- Member, trainer, or staff app records connected to your personal profile.
- Optional app data such as preferences, notes, or support messages tied to your account.
Data We May Retain
Some records may be retained where required for legal, financial, security, dispute-resolution, or legitimate business purposes. This may include:
- Invoices, payment records, tax records, and transaction logs.
- Attendance, membership, or operational records that your gym is legally or contractually required to keep.
- Security logs needed to prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
- Backup copies retained for a limited period before routine deletion.
Where full deletion is not possible, we restrict, minimize, or anonymize data where appropriate.
Processing Timeline
We usually acknowledge deletion requests within 7 business days. Verified requests are normally completed within 30 days, unless a longer period is required due to legal, security, or technical reasons.
Important Notes for Gym Members and Trainers
If your GymCare account was created by a gym, fitness studio, or employer, we may need to coordinate with that organization because they may control certain membership, attendance, billing, or staff records. You can still send your request directly to GymCare, and we will guide you through the next step.
